Join beloved writers, friends and joy-seekers, Julia Baird and Holly Ringland, for an evening of conversation, connection and creativity, in support of Médecins Sans Frontières.
Julia Baird
Julia Baird is a Sydney-based author, journalist and co-host of the ABC podcast Not Stupid. She writes for The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and ABC, and has been a senior editor at Newsweek and co-host of The Drum. Her books include Media Tarts, Victoria (a New York Times Top Ten Book of 2016), the international bestseller Phosphorescence, and Bright Shining, shortlisted for the 2024 Australian Book Industry Award for Non-Fiction Book of the Year.
Holly Ringland
Holly Ringland is the bestselling author of The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, The Seven Skins of Esther Wilding and The House that Joy Built. Her books have sold over 500,000 copies in 30+ territories. She writes the popular Substack The Joy Rise and co-hosted ABC TV’s Back to Nature. In 2023, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart was adapted into an award-winning Prime Video series starring Sigourney Weaver.
