A Bondi Festival 2025 event. 

Trade your sunhat for a beanie, your boogie board for skates and join us at the famous Bondi Festival Ice Rink. Open to everyone, every day of the festival, glide through a beachside winter wonderland.

With push-along penguins and ice skates of all sizes, you’re invited to sail around the rink (or shuffle if you’re a first timer). Enjoy sweeping Bondi views by day or the glittering lights of evening on ice.

The rink is outdoors and designed to proceed in all weather conditions, rain or shine. If rain is forecast, please assume your session is proceeding and be prepared with your own raincoat and wet weather gear. Umbrellas are not permitted on the ice. Please note that there are no refunds if you do not arrive at your session.

In extreme circumstances, Stars on Ice may be able to reschedule your tickets to another session upon request, subject to availability.

Free use of helmets for all skaters.

Please note, the Ice Rink is outdoors and designed to proceed in all weather conditions, rain or shine. In the event of a rain forecast, please assume your skating is going ahead.

Times:
10 am – 8.45 pm daily (last session 8 pm)

All prices include skate hire.

Waverley residents receive a 10% discount when booking at the on-site box office during the Festival (not valid for online purchases). A valid ID with proof of residence must be shown to redeem the discount.

Learn to Skate Lessons:

Want to learn to skate? Ice rink operators Stars on Ice are running ice skating lessons with champion figure skaters on Saturdays at 9 am. No experience required. All tickets are $39.00 and include entry to the 10 am ice skating session.
