Join multi-award winning author Bri Lee and her Cool Story podcast co-pilot, journalist Bridie Jabour, as they launch Bri’s gripping new novel Seed and discuss the science, sex and secrets behind the intriguing plot.

Bri Lee is the bestselling author of acclaimed non-fiction books Eggshell Skull, Beauty and Who Gets to Be Smart. Her journalism, essays, and short stories have been published widely, and she is the creator and editor of News & Reviews. Bri's bestselling first novel, The Work, was published in April 2024 and has been longlisted for the 2025 Indie Award for Debut Fiction.
Bridie Jabour is the head of audio and visual at Guardian Australia. She is the author of two books, Trivial Grievances and The Way Things Should Be (published as My Not So Functional Family in the UK). She co-hosted the popular podcast Cool Story with Bri Lee, until it finished in 2024.
