A candlelight vigil will be held on Sunday 21 April to allow the community to come together and honour the victims of the Bondi Junction tragedy 🕯️
The vigil will begin at 5.30pm on Sunday and will take place at the Dolphin Court, Bondi Beach – south of the Bondi Pavilion. The vigil will also be live-streamed.
There will be a one-minute silence in honour of those whose lives were lost. Attendees are asked to bring their own candle to take part in the vigil and kindly take candles home at the end of the evening.
People are encouraged to catch public transport to and from the vigil.
Traffic and carpark impacts
Thousands of people are expected to attend. Attendees are encouraged to leave their car at home as parking around Bondi Beach is very limited and some parking areas around the Pavilion will be closed.

- Queen Elizabeth Drive (South) will be closed from 5am to 7pm
- Queen Elizabeth Drive (North) two-way entry from 5am to 7pm
