Join Betty Grumble and her Boogettes for a madcap aerobic masterclass for the masses. With special guest DJ HipHopHero, connect with your body and your community in this liberating and hyperactive dance party. Open to all ages, all bodies and everyone, the daytime dance party is fully accessible and inclusive.
Meet The Creatives:
Emma Maye Gibson (AKA Betty Grumble) is a Warrane/Sydney-based performance artist who engages her body as a hopeful and medicinal site for catharsis and pleasure. Her famous Grumble Boogies blend choreography, music, performance art, aerobics, subversive protest and body paint to create a unique kind of blissful mayhem.
HipHopHero lives, works, plays and creates on Aboriginal Land. Their passion is storytelling through music. Although their first love is hip hop, expect the unexpected as they span genres, decades, moods and sounds.
