Waverley Council’s Local Creative Collaborations program supports artists to connect to develop and showcase new work at Bondi Pavilion through artist residencies in the  Yalagang Room, Artist Studio and Music Studios.

Designed to support artists at every stage of their practice – from emerging to established – this program facilitates artists to connect with each other and the local community.

Expressions of interest for 2026 closed in February. The next round will open in late 2026 for 2027 opportunities - sign up to the Local Creative Collaborations newsletter to be the first to know.

Carissa Licciardello: Work-in-Progress Showing | 26 June, 4pm | Yalagang Room Free

Carissa Licciardello is currently developing a new work in the Yalagang Room, Compulsion (or 'Fantasies of violence'). This will be a new image- and sound-based work for theatre, exploring the effects of misogynistic violence on the female psyche. Local artists are invited to Carissa's free work-in-progress showing on Friday 26 June.
