The Cassettes
14 February 1.30pm

Hit play on the first Lunchtime Concert at the Pav for 2024 and come on down to the High Tide room for a fabulous hour of music and fun.  Let the Cassettes hit rewind and take you back to the analogue era.

For the past decade, The Cassettes have been curating the soundtrack to Sydney’s most unforgettable nights out. With the best of blues, soul, rock ‘n’ roll, and a fresh take on your favourite classic pop tracks, The Cassettes are not your average band. Alternating seamlessly between styles with grit and grace, The Cassettes are versatile, polished and a really good time!

Jo Elms

Enjoy a soulful set of beautiful songs.

Jo Elms is a singer and songwriter whose acoustic style blends her love of jazz and soul music with her Celtic heritage. Having graced stages nationally and internationally, Jo has performed with some of the top names in Australian music including Rick Price, Glenn Shorrock and Tina Arena.

Playing all the hits, Jo will bring a ton of joy to the light filled space of the High Tide Room.

Swing the blues away with Greg Poppleton!

Greg is one of Australia’s most authentic 1920s-30s singer with 1.3 million total YouTube views and 8 albums! Greg shines on stage as he brings his love for the dazzling Hollywood Golden Era to life.

Whether on his award-winning Phantom Dancer live swing jazz show, on stage at Sydney Festival, or his appearance in the movies with Nicole Kidman (Moulin Rouge!), Greg Poppleton is the real deal.

Molto Bene

Hold onto your hats for a musical journey across the world.

Molto Bene feature the indisputably amazing talents of Ben Fink (guitar and vocals) and Philippe Wittwer (accordion and vocals).

This duo will play originals, covers and everything in between. Be it swinging gypsy jazz, foot stomping New Orleans blues, hot samba grooves, or a wonderful blend of pop and polka, these gifted and light-hearted musicians infuse the music with both humour and authenticity.

Don’t miss this opportunity to take a trip around the world without leaving the Bondi Pav (although they may have you moving in and around your seat!).

The Music of Burt Bacharach and Dionne Warwick: The Di Bird Trio

Bathe in the music of this golden era of song.

With skill, authority and devotion Di Bird and her trio pay homage to the wonderful songs that defined an era of popular music.

Performing as the front for the trio, Di Bird has established herself as one of Sydney’s premier jazz vocalists, performing at many iconic jazz festivals, including Manly, Magnetic Island, Norfolk Island, Bay of Islands, Queenstown, Devonport and more.

With bassist extraordinaire Carig Scott as musical director and Tim Fisher on piano, the group bring to life all the beauty and heart that is the centre of these gorgeous songs. This is a show not to be missed.
