The GOAT was the “Greatest Of All Time.” Now, because words mean whatever you want them to, it could mean Great, Grifter, Griever, Genius, Grump or even Gullible.

Modern GOATs are influencers, men’s health frauds, motivational speakers, self-help gurus, conspiracy theorists, awareness-raisers and charity spruikers, saving our lives and soul, one financial transaction at a time.

Or are they just exploiting our confusion, innocence and gullibility for anything that sounds about right or is sold as virtuous? Can you still be a good person if you’ve never handed over a gigantic cheque or grown a moustache in November?
