Don’t miss standout performances from Elly-May Barnes, the heartwarming musical comedy of Dean, Don’t Dance! and the hilarious brilliance of the Limitless Comedy Gala. Limitless isn’t just a hub, it’s a movement.
Tues16 to Fri 19 September, 8pm
A comical music show about the greatest Pokemon. Every song is about Charizard, interspersed with stories that take you on a journey of love, betrayal, hardship and humour. After not performing in Australia for 10 years, Holographic Charizard is back in 2025, bringing his evolved showmanship and stories to new audiences around Australia. Everyone who attends will receive a random Pokemon card (hits included). Come celebrate the greatest ever Pokemon with us! (Pokemon knowledge is not required but encouraged)
Tues 16 September, 7pm
Join us to celebrate the opening of 'Limitless' with an epic comedy line-up! A hand-selected crew of some of our favourite d/Deaf, disabled and neurodiverse comedians from this and previous years' Fringe Festivals. Featuring Alexandra Hudson, Thomas Begg, Suma Iyer, Loz Booth, Dizzy Bility and hosted by Imaan Hadchiti, we're sure to be in for an exceptional night of comedy!
Wed 17 to Fri 19 September, 6:15pm; Sat 20 September, 1:30pm & 6:15pm
An intersectional tragicomedy. RJ Daligcon is queer, here and tired of being alone. Well, they say misery loves company. For those who have ever felt out of place in the world one way or another, hop aboard the DEI express in a comedic thrill ride worthy of a Christopher Nolan movie. Stretching from Honolulu to Brisbane, explore the minutiae of being QDCD (queer, disabled, culturally different), of rediscovering and reconciling with the inner child and the tragedy that changed everything. Chart a course in the mind of a comedic cartographer navigating absurd railway networks, loud convention floors and gaming culture.
THE CROONERS - SWINGING AND SPINNING
Wed 17 September, 6:30pm
After a series of sold out performances in Queensland, Tim McCallum, Tony Doevendans and Michael Sattin present a toe tapping cabaret of the all-time favourite jazz classics from Bennet to Bublé, Nat ‘King’ Cole to Frank Sinatra. Instead of ‘treading’ the boards, these leading men will ‘wheel’ them, chair to chair and hat to hat. With their exuberant showmanship and stellar harmonies, The Crooners will have you dancing in your seat to the classics we all know and love. Come fly with them as they swing and spin the night away in an intimate soiree of song the only way they know how. Their way.
Wed 17 September, 8:15pm; Thurs 18 September, 7pm
A glitter-drenched variety spectacular where disabled artists light up the stage with comedy, pole, live music and LED hoops. Bold, cheeky, joyful – and absolutely unforgettable. Enter the Glimmerverse – a glittering, defiant celebration of disabled brilliance. Criptonite is a fast-paced, high-impact variety show where unapologetic joy and creative fire take centre stage. Curated by international pole champion Deb Roach and hosted by improv king and chaos wrangler Tom North, this world premiere is bursting with sparkle, sass and serious talent. Come curious. Leave electric. Two nights only? Better get your seat.
Fri 19 September, 6:45pm; Sat 20 September, 1pm and 6:45pm
An improvised adventure where the audience decides what happens! The Upper Crass Players are performing their brand new interactive improvised show at Sydney Fringe! Our heroes will go on a fantasy adventure and you, the audience, get to decide who we are, what we do, and who we meet with the roll of the dice determining our success. Will our hero be a sloth assassin, vulture veterinarian, or a lone wolf detective? Will they be solving a murder, fighting a war, or pulling off a heist? Should they help the banker find a doctor, kill them for the vault keys, or something original that you made up? Come and join our performers because without you THE SHOW WILL NOT BE THE SAME!
Fri 19 September, 7pm
It’s fair to say, Elly-May Barnes is an artist who has always been ahead of her time. So eager to join the ranks of her prolifically musical family, Elly was born 14 weeks premature with the odds of survival not on her side. But she didn’t just survive, she arrived with unwavering strength that continues to shine though her music and performance to this day. At 12 years old, Elly-May started singing and touring with her father, Jimmy. For decades, Elly worked hard honing her craft with the family band to become a certified professional, though barely old enough to buy a drink at a bar. “Music has as always been my greatest source of joy and has got me through my darkest times. Creating my own music, my own little world has been such an amazing, fun and emotional process and I can’t wait to share it with the world. I hope people connect with it"
Fri 19 September, 8:30pm; Sat 20 September, 3pm & 8:30pm
Welcome to MY show about ME -- Donald JAY Trump I'm not sure who HATES me more -- the MEDIA or HOLLYWOOD. But because you LOSERS refuse to come and meet me where I AM, I will come to YOU. I have (ghost) written my own THEATRE PLAY so that I can communicate CLEARLY. I was helped in my writing by CHRISTOPHER MARLOWE and I've used his play TAMBURLAINE to depict my STRUGGLES and JOURNEY in my first election (spoiler alert: I WON). I also found some 'actors' (out-of-work hospitality workers) to act it all out. So make sure you come to the show that everyME is talking about!
Sat 20 September, 12:30pm & 6:30pm
World premiere of an electric work by emerging theatre-shaker Jess Turner. Part spoken-word, part movement, part quiet reckoning, Spectrum is a story about loving, living and trusting beyond the ordinary. Inspired by Jess’ own experiences, Spectrum moves through the soft, colourful space of neurodivergence with tenderness and defiance. It’s a show about masking, mirroring, and the strange, slow joy of letting go of what was never meant to be.
20 September, 2pm & 8pm
Let’s talk about societal misconceptions, microaggressions, and attitudinal barriers....but, In a fun way! A bold comedy that blends humour, music, and vulnerability to challenge ableism, explore self-acceptance, and celebrate inclusivity. Disability is inevitable. It’s like Death and taxes. It comes for everyone. Much like hunger, love, and existential dread, disability is something we all experience in some way. So why not talk about it? Laugh about it? Sing silly little songs about it?
"Dean, Don’t Dance!" creatively integrates accessibility into the very fabric of the show. With audio description and Auslan interpretation embedded into the narrative, accessibility isn’t an add-on; it’s part of the story. This means everyone, regardless of access barriers, can engage fully with the performance. Get your tickets now for a performance that redefines inclusivity and pushes the boundaries of what theatre can be.
