Be amazed by the creativity of our young artists and by Australia’s extraordinary threatened wildlife!

Opening Event - 1 pm, Saturday Nov 14th.

Wild at Art is Australia’s biggest wildlife art competition for children aged 5–12, inviting kids from across the country to create original artworks celebrating Australia’s threatened native animals and plants.

This special exhibition at Bondi Pavilion showcases beautiful and inspiring artworks by young artists from Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, alongside some of the outstanding entries from around Australia.

Come along with the whole family to explore the exhibition, discover more about our incredible threatened wildlife and celebrate the imagination and creativity of the next generation.

There’ll be plenty of free family fun, including face painting, photobooth, art activities, a threatened species quiz and the chance to vote for your favourite artwork in the People’s Choice Award. We’ll also celebrate our local young artists with awards and prizes. AND meet your local MPs Allegra Spender, Matt Thistltethwaite and Marjorie O'Neill who are joining many Waverley Councillors with us at the opening event.

Wild at Art is about much more than creating a beautiful picture. By choosing a threatened species, learning its story and creating an artwork about it, children build a connection with the natural world and give a voice to the plants and animals that need our help.

It’s colourful, creative, inspiring and completely free.

Bring the kids, family and friends and Be Amazed!
